Bubble & Schoodic Classrooms
Toddlers 18 months and up
Children in our Bubble & Schoodic classrooms will receive the Frog Street Toddler curriculum. This curriculum has activity choices organized around five developmental domains, offers differentiated instruction options to meet the needs of all learners, easily infuses into daily routines, such as diaper changing, transitions and outdoor play and is designed with intention and purpose to move children forward in their development.
Cadillac Classroom
3 years to 4 years
Our Cadillac Classroom uses the Frog Street Threes curriculum. This curriculum focuses on the following skills – interactive play, sharing, caring, following through on commitments, engaging in read-alouds, vocabulary development, formal introduction to the alphabet, phonological awareness, writing and fine motor skills, and foundational math skills like attributes, classification, patterns, one-to-one correspondence, order numeration, STEAM, logical reasoning & problem solving.
Katahdin
4 years to 5 years
Preschool
Preschool students follow the OWL (Opening the World of Learning) curriculum. OWL is based upon the belief that immersion in a learning-rich environment is critical, but not sufficient. The environment and interactions must be thoughtful and purposeful. All parts of the day should be considered opportunities for learning. Teachers create learning opportunities for students in various creative ways throughout the day, using multiple instructional strategies to respond to individual children’s learning needs.
